With such practices, students will then be able to apply what they have learnt in college to real business situations in their future professions or business ventures. On top of the "hard" elements of business, the programme highlights the importance of other "softer" areas of business like governance, ethical and psychological issues of business which of late have become critical "strategic issues" in leading and managing high performing organisations. This holistic approach will have the effect of making the programme more effective and yet balanced and complete.

The programme also places special stress on communication, time-management and presentation skills. Students are given the opportunity to practise these `acquired' skills through both group discussions of assignments and presentations throughout the entire programme. Consequently, these students will become more confident and aggressive, hence more employable when they enter the business world.

In addition to this, the School puts emphasis on the "character and attitudinal" aspects of the students by providing ample opportunities for them to develop their leadership and organisation skills such as requiring them to occasionally organize activities like study tours to factories, board-games, etc..
