Academic Advisor

Every diploma student of Han Chiang College is assigned an academic advisor who advises on the appropriate course / programme to take based on the student’s qualifications, interest and career aspiration. The academic advisor also monitors the progress of the student’s academic performance on a regular basis through meet-the-student sessions.

Counselling Unit

cuThe College offers a unique form of counselling service to guide Han Chiang College students to greater heights. The counselling unit does not only function to help those who seek guidance on personal matters, career opportunities and further education, but also offers additional services such as talks on motivation and mental / physical abilities, etc. Students can reap the benefits of this special service by fully utilizing it. Job Centre

HCC Job Centre provides free services to our graduates who require assistance in job placement. The Centre assists many well-established and reputable companies to look for enthusiastic, qualified and suitable team players for their corporations. Kindly drop by anytime during office hours to speak to any of our Marketing personnel to look through our job listings.

    Other services provided are talks and seminars on:
  • Resume writing
  • Interviewing techniques
  • Job search assistance, etc.

Student Affairs Section

saStudents’ needs and their personal and academic welfare are the priority concerns of the College. As such, the Student Affairs Section was formed to deal with student affairs such as accommodation, loans and scholarships applications, insurance applications and students’ clubs and societies.

The College provides extra curricular activities which enable students to focus on other equally important aspects of campus life apart from their academic studies. These activities help students to develop their teamwork spirit, leadership qualities, communication skills and self-confidence. Currently, there are 13 societies and clubs operating at the College, including a Student Council, Chinese Society, Communication Society, Multimedia & IT Society, Business & Management Society, Community Service Group, Student Band, Photography Society, Buddhist Association, Sports Club, English Language Club, Drama and Dance Society, Youth and Counselling Club, etc.
