Continuing Education Centre

Continuing Education Centre (CEC) of Han Chiang College was founded in 2004. The main goal is to encourage the concept of life-long learning and In-service-Education. In conjunction with the development of this country, Han Chiang creates opportunities for students as well as professionals to further improve themselves, to cultivate experts in all fields. The Continuing Education Centre offers high quality, realistic and flexible programmes.

Chinese Heritage Centre

Launched on 29 June 2003, the Chinese Heritage Centre is a centre for the collection and exhibition of chinese cultural heritage. It is divided into two sections ie exhibition hall and resource room. The objectives of the Centre are as follows:

  1. To display, explain and illustrate the historical collection and cultural heritage of the Chinese community in Malaysia.
  2. To explore and research into the historical paths of the Chinese community from the perspectives of politics, culture, education and the trends of development in these fields.
  3. To compile, edit and publish journals, monographs of historical and heritage interests to enrich the contains of studies on Malaysian Chinese and to broaden interaction among academic in Malaysia and abroad.

The Centre which acts as a platform in providing hands-on experience for Han Chiang College Diploma in Communication and Broadcast Journalism students trains students to be broadcasters, broadcast journalists, reporters, editors, producers etc. Ultimately, these practical experiences prepare students for the corporate world and give them an edge in the job market.
